Learn Mode
Guided tours that walk you through each AssetLab module as you open it, with animated intros for the big ones.
Learn Mode overlays short guided tours on the app itself. With it on, the first time you open a module in a session, a tour walks you through that page - what each control does and where to go next. The bigger modules open with a short animated intro first; Start tour steps through the page, Skip goes straight to work.
Turning it on and off
- Open the Support & Help menu (the question mark in the header - it glows green while Learn Mode is on) and flip the Learn Mode switch.
- Brand-new accounts start with Learn Mode on, so a first sign-in lands with the welcome tour ready.
- Exiting any tour with Esc, the close button, or the Exit Learn Mode link turns Learn Mode off everywhere - no more tours will start until you switch it back on.
- Switching it back on replays the welcome and every tour again, so it doubles as a refresher.

Steps highlight the real controls on the page, so anything the tour points at is something you can actually click. A tour plays once per session per page; refreshing the browser resets that.
What's covered
Every major surface has a tour: the dashboard (each tab has its own), assets and the asset page, work orders and their forms, preventive maintenance, work requests, projects and the project editor, the capital planner, compliance, contracts, parts, expenses, infrastructure with its feature, zone, route, and corridor pages and the GIS import wizard, forms & inspections including the form builder, floorplans including the plan editor, the report builder, level of service areas, locations, classifications, and every Settings tab including Data.
Learn Mode is per-user: turning it on for yourself changes nothing for teammates.
